Joined Ritsons in 2009 as a summer student and stayed on to complete ICAS training. Became an associate in 2023.
Prior to joining Ritsons, Alison obtained a Batchelor of Accountancy in University of Dundee.
Alison specialises in audit & corporate clients, and has experience in a broad range of clients & business sectors
When Alison is not at work she spends time with her family, going out for walks, reading & listening to music.
Angela originally joined Ritsons in 2004, she then moved south during to her husbands RAF deployment, she then returned in 2008 and became an associate in 2021.
Prior to joining Ritsons Angela studied at Aberdeen University gaining an MA Accountancy and Management (Hons) and then completed her CA training with another firm.
Angela’s sector of speciality is owner managed limited companies, partnerships and sole traders, she has a number of clients that are hotels and solicitors.
When Angela isn’t working she is spending time with her family.
Arlene originally joined Ritsons in 2001 as an assistant auditor in the Elgin office before moving to the Buckie office to complete her AAT & CA training. After a time away she rejoined in 2022 having qualified as a Chartered Tax Advisor & merging her own CA practice in Banff to Ritsons.
Prior to joining Ritsons, Arlene studied an HND in Accountancy at Banff & Buchan College.
She has a broad spectrum of client in general practice & especially enjoys working with start ups & accountancy software.
When Arlene isn’t working she is spending time with her family, she has a keen interest in health & fitness & is a qualified Pilates instructor.
Christine originally joined Ritsons in 1994 as the office junior, she returned in 2007 AAT & CA qualified. Christine was made an associate in 2021.
Christine deals with a diverse portfolio of clients from fishermen to construction.
When Christine is not at work she spends her time with family & the dogs, reading books & has recently taken up knitting.
Daniel joined Ritsons in 2002 as a newly qualified Chartered Accountant. He became an associate in 2006 & then a partner in 2011
Prior to joining Ritsons, Daniel obtained an Accountancy degree from Aberdeen University.
Daniel has a broad range of small to medium sized client in various industries. He is the audit partner for the Inverness office & audit compliance officer for the whole firm.
When Daniel isn’t working he is spending time with his family & friends, he is very active & enjoys cycling, running, shinty & golf to name a few.
David joined Ritsons in 1988, he completed his ICAS training in Ritsons in 1992, became an associate in 1997 & then a partner in 2002.
David initially worked at Ritsons whilst he was still at school, he went to Aberdeen College to do an HND in accountancy before commencing fulltime work.
David has a broad range of client in all aspects of general practice & especially within the agricultural sector.
When he isn’t working David enjoys spending time with his family, he plays golf & enjoys watching his younger son play football.
Gemma joined Ritsons as a CA student in 2006 and was promoted to an associate in 2020.
Prior to joining Ritsons, Gemma studied Accountancy and Finance at Heriot Watt, where she graduated in 2006.
Gemma deals with a diverse portfolio of clients including personal tax, sole traders & partnerships, limited companies and charities. She is also involved with a number of the firm’s audit clients.
When Gemma is not at work she spends her time cycling (road and mountain bike) or hill-walking with her border collie Marley.
Joined Ritsons in 2003 & became a partner in 2011.
Prior to joining Ritsons James trained with a large independent firm of accountants & worked within Audit & Assurance.
James deals with SME general practice, agriculture & haulage sector clients.
When James is not at work he enjoys cars, motor bikes, motor sports, camping, spending time with his family & dogs.
Joined Ritsons in 2004 competed ICAS training, became an associate in 2019 before becoming a partner is 2020.
Prior to joining Ritsons, Laura gained an HND in accountancy at Moray College.
Laura deals in general practice including agriculture, construction & hospitality.
When Laura is not at work she spends her time walking & outdoors with her dogs.
